Release 22.8

22 August 2022

The main goal of this release? Make your life as a Super admin easier: now you can export all data from the back office.

Export links

  • Impact
  • Back Office

As a Superadmin, you can now export all links from the link library via backoffice > link-library > links.

With the link library, you can make your employee app the central hub that links to all relevant tools and sites that are useful for your colleagues. Links to external tools and sites can be segmented to specific user lists, but also to either the desktop or the mobile app, or both. You can also feature a link directly in the main menu, by checking the box “Show in menu”.

This is what it looks like in the mobile app with the example of Spencer Academy:

Export user lists

  • Impact
  • Back Office

As a Super admin, you can now export all user lists on back office > users > lists.

This export creates an Excel list of all user lists. User lists allow you to segment content to the relevant audience, and to avoid information overload. To make content creation easier for your content creators, a regular clean-up of your user lists is advised. Export the user lists to have an overview of all user lists. Let us know what user lists are no longer in use and contact us to make sure no data gets lost when you remove user lists.

Export user roles

  • Impact
  • Back Office

As a Super admin, you can now export roles on back office > users > permissions.

This export creates an Excel list of all users that have access to the back office and mentions their role(s). This way, you can keep your platform and content safe and secure. Review regularly who has access to the back office and in what role(s). The export list makes this easier. You can adapt someone’s role via the user detail page in the right-hand column.

For content creators, you can still find the specific audiences and topics they can post to via theUser permissions page, and adapt those when needed. Being a content creator means you canonly access your own content in the back office.

Manage ‘manager ID’

  • Impact
  • Back Office

The last new feature is that the manager ID can now be linked to the profile page in the back office. This is specifically useful for organizations who manage their users manually via CSV imports (as a manager was only possible to define via the import flow). Now you can just create users directly in the back office without the need to run CSV importsTo search for a user you want to add as a manager, start by typing “first name:” and add the first name after that. A drop-down list will appear from which you can choose the right person.

For content creators, you can still find the specific audiences and topics they can post to via theUser permissions page, and adapt those when needed. Being a content creator means you canonly access your own content in the back office.

Other updates and fixes

  • Impact
  • Back Office

Print function in desktop app: images are now better scaled to fit on the page. The print function in the desktop app allows you to print out articles from your employee app,e.g. for displaying them on a bulletin board. A print button appears with every article.

The “Create a new article” button is more visible.
