Release 24.5

12 June 2023

This new release brings more in depth measurements and some handy features for content editors in the back office. For the front end, we have a complete update to the look and feel of the mobile apps, in line with the web version. And both on the front and the back end, you have improved search on articles.

New look and feel for mobile app

  • Impact
  • Mobile app

The mobile app had a complete makeover to match the look and feel of the web platform.
We also adapted the chat module so it runs smoother, faster and more smoothly and stable.

Adaptable topics filter on web

  • Impact
  • Web

The topics filter next to the newsfeed is now adaptable: we added a background color so it is highlighted, and the number of topics appearing in the initial list is adaptable.

Find content recommendations in Reporting

  • Impact
  • Back Office

We are taking our commitment to enabling you with useful insights to adapt and tweak your internal communications to take it to another level.

We are introducing a new dashboard (to be found in the menu under Reporting > Publication reach) that is showing you Content Recommendations and also shows the Comms pressure for a given audience and time.

This graph gives answers to questions like:

  • What audiences are experiencing a higher « comms pressure », in other words receiving more publications, than others?
  • Are we segmenting the audience sufficiently?
  • What content is working with our audience?
  • And what can we learn from the content that has rather low open rates?

Reporting: compare usage in time

  • Impact
  • Back Office

The usage tab in the Reporting now offers the possibility to compare the statistics to another time period. This helps you make an evaluation of how usage of your app changes over time.

Never lose anyone out of sight with user list groups

  • Impact
  • Back Office

Segmentation is key in your communication, but when selecting different segments, you can sometimes overlook a certain segment. We now introduce the possibility to create user list groups to prevent this.

This feature is especially useful if you wish to include some key users to all articles you publish.

How to create a user list group?

  • Go to Users > User lists
  • Click on Create a group
  • Search for and select the user lists you want to add to the group.
  • Give your group a name and save it.

Keep your digest mails as relevant as possible

  • Impact
  • Back Office

Our weekly personalized digest mails can be a great driver for usage. However, to keep these mails as relevant as possible, we now offer the possibility to exclude an article from the next digest mail.

Where do you find this feature?

Check the user sync file in the back office

      • Impact
      • Back Office

To make the work of Super Admins easier, we improved the user sync report feature by making it possible to download the CSV file directly from the back office.

Where do you find this feature?

      • Go to Users > User management.
      • Click the Actions button in the top right corner and choose Sync reports from the dropdown menu.

        • On the next page you find the overview of the syncs and the button to download the file when the sync was successful.

          Other new features

          • Searching for articles in the apps and the web platform has been improved.
          • When you open an article in the back office after publishing it, you will see when it was last edited and by whom.
          • When searching for an article in the back office, you can now use the publication ID to find it. This applies not only to the overview of publications but also when you link to an article or add it as a “related article”.
Where do you find the publication ID? In the first column of the Publications overview.

            Fixes

            • Impact
            • Back Office

When duplicating an article with a featured video in the back office and removing the video in the new article, the video remains visible in the original article.
